Pic Collage for Kids
"The safest, most fun collage app available for home and school"

Heard about this app in class yesterday and then saw it on the iPad Apps for School blog. I decided to give it a try!

My students would love to create a collage about themselves. The app provides a selection of "stickers" that are easy to use.  It would be a fun way to do an "All About Me" poster.

This is one of the background choices. There are many!
You can insert text in a variety of fonts, as well as web images and GIFs. This sun is a GIF but it's not moving!

These pictures came from the web images provided but you can use your own pictures. The app lets you choose from a variety of layouts. My students could add text to tell about their topic.

Here are the details!

  1. It looks like I need to add that app to my list for incoming second graders. User friendly, educational, and a fun app for making collages.

  4. Pic Collage is a great app! I have only used it as a photography tool for myself in the past. You have great ideas for having the students use it!

  5. Patty, I love the posters you created to show an example of this app. I could totally see using this to have the kids introduce themselves in the fall. This would also be a great learning tool for a lower level ESL class to help learn new vocabulary. Thanks for sharing.
