Pic Collage for Kids

Heard about this app in class yesterday and then saw it on the iPad Apps for School blog. I decided to give it a try!

This is one of the background choices. There are many!
You can insert text in a variety of fonts, as well as web images and GIFs. This sun is a GIF but it's not moving!
These pictures came from the web images provided but you can use your own pictures. The app lets you choose from a variety of layouts. My students could add text to tell about their topic.

It looks like I need to add that app to my list for incoming second graders. User friendly, educational, and a fun app for making collages.

ReplyDeletePic Collage is a great app! I have only used it as a photography tool for myself in the past. You have great ideas for having the students use it!
ReplyDeletePatty, I love the posters you created to show an example of this app. I could totally see using this to have the kids introduce themselves in the fall. This would also be a great learning tool for a lower level ESL class to help learn new vocabulary. Thanks for sharing.
